GooGaming.com recently discovered Battlefield Champions and fell in love with this free online game, however we did run into some frustrations with punkbuster and disconnects. The upside is we did discover a solution which worked great for us and hopefully will for you to.

1. End the game if you are currently trying to play.
2. Open 24349 UDP in your Windows Firewall if you haven’t already.
3. Go to http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php and download Punkbuster.
4. Extract the .exe and run it.
5. A Box should appear. Clcik on “Add Game” on top left.
6. Choose “Battlefield Heroes”, from the drop down list and click the “Add Game” button.
7. It should appear now in the list. Select it and click the “Check for updates” button.

The game will do some updates it will take a few minutes but after that the game should run a lot more solid. Hope this helps out some gamers out there. Feel free to comment or contact us with any other tips that have helped you with Battlefield Champions!

While waiting for Champions Online and Aion to finally enter open beta and retail I have been poking around the online games and came across a great game, Battlefield Champions! Developed by EA Games its a great online shooter with descent cartoon graphics. You choose to either be on the side of the Royal Army or the National Army.

There are vehicles in the game including jeeps, tanks and planes. The game is mostly based on capture the flag tactics. There are three classes to choose from Solider, Gunner and Commando and a bunch of clothes to customize your character. You actually level and earn points to upgrade your abilities and weapons. Some of the weapon upgrades only last for 7 days or a month which makes gamers keep coming back to earn points to keep their abilities.
